Thomas Dawson-Tripodis, PA-C
From a young age, Thomas Dawson-Tripodis knew he wanted to make a difference in people’s lives. Influenced by his mother, a nurse, and his brother, a pharmacist, Thomas was naturally drawn to the medical field. After researching various careers, he discovered the role of a Physician Assistant and realized it was the perfect fit for his passion for helping others.
During his studies, a rotation through an LGBTQ+ health clinic in Pittsburgh, PA, solidified his calling. “The experience was incredibly rewarding,” he says, “and I knew that providing compassionate care in this field would be my career path.”
At Rosedale Health + Wellness, Thomas brings his commitment to building strong, trusting relationships with his patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported in their journey to better physical and mental health. “The practice stands out in the region for its comprehensive approach to healthcare, particularly in its dedication to the LGBTQ+ community,” Thomas explains. “Rosedale Health + Wellness offers comprehensive, in-office services including primary care, laboratory, pharmacy, nutrition counseling, and support for mental health services, striving to address the whole person and the diverse community we serve.”
Thomas says he finds great fulfillment in building connections with his patients, recognizing that each individual’s lifestyle is unique. He takes a personalized approach, helping his patients live their lives to the fullest while maintaining their health. His work with the LGBTQ+ community is especially meaningful to him, as he is passionate about serving an often underserved population.
Thomas’s philosophy of care is simple yet profound: life is about adventures, and he strives to help his patients achieve the goal of being healthy enough to embark on those adventures.
Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Thomas most recently worked in West Hollywood, California. However, he says his heart always remained on the East Coast. Thomas and his husband recently relocated to the area. The couple and their three beloved fur babies are excited to explore their new surroundings. Thomas says he looks forward to figure skating again, a sport he enjoyed for nine years during his youth.
