Dale Pierce’s journey with healthcare began with a deeply personal experience. Diagnosed with HIV in September of 1996, Dale was fortunate to receive exceptional care in his community. This pivotal moment inspired him to dedicate his career to ensuring that others facing similar challenges would have access to the same high-quality care. As the Treasurer and 340B Program Manager at Rosedale Health + Wellness (and Executive Director of Dudley’s Place, the non-profit affiliate of Rosedale Health + Wellness), Dale plays a critical role in overseeing financial operations and managing the 340B Drug Pricing Program, which helps provide affordable medication to those in need.
Dale says, “What sets Rosedale Health + Wellness apart, especially in its commitment to primary care and comprehensive LBGTQ+ healthcare, is the holistic approach to patient wellness. I am a firm believer in treating the entire patient—mind, body, and spirit.” Through Dudley’s Place, Dale and his team work tirelessly to remove barriers to comprehensive and sustainable care, helping every patient get access to the resources they need.
One of Dale’s greatest joys is serving the community and making Rosedale Health + Wellness a safe and welcoming space for people from all backgrounds. He takes pride in celebrating the community’s diversity and fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and respected.
Born in Falconer, NY, Dale eventually sought warmer climates after college, moving to North Carolina. With over two decades of experience in HIV care, he also completed his Master of Business Administration, enhancing his ability to serve in his current roles. Dale resides in Huntersville with his husband, Ed. Together, they share a love for travel, art collecting, theater, live music, and spending time with family and friends. Outside of work, Dale is active in several community non-profits and philanthropic ventures, as well as participating in Stonewall Sports Charlotte.
